RESISTANCE TO WEAR AND ABRASION
The wear resistance of the EcoVizor rotating elements and housings is unsurpassed by any other pump technology. This is explained by the following.
The contact between the pistons and the rotor, and also between the rotary piston group and the casing is neither pointed as, for example, in ball bearings neither linear as, for example in roller bearings but surface, reducing wear of the working surfaces to a minimum. As the movement of working surfaces is sliding rather than opening and closing, the pump offers improved durability in the handling of abrasive materials.
The low inertial mass and balanced operation of the mechanism offers significant reduction of operating noise.
EASE OF MAINTENANCE
The construction of the EcoVizor allows replacement of bearings and seals without disconnecting the pump from the pipeline which means all maintenance operations can be performed quickly and with ease. In addition, CIP/SIP solutions are available to further reduce downtime required for cleaning and servicing.
REDUCED SIZE AND WEIGHT
The unique spherical construction of the rotary piston group allowed to reduce the dimensions and weight of the EcoVizor, making it easy to mount at any section of the pipeline.
The EcoVizor can be mounted in any position which makes its footprint smaller and opens new possibilities for installation into tight-fit locations.
EFFECTIVE HANDLING OF VISCOUS LIQUIDS
The unique construction of the EcoVizor allows effective pumping of highly viscous substances which many pump types are either unable to handle at all, or handle with low efficiency. This difference becomes more pronounced as viscosity increases.
EcoVizor pumps are equipped with direct drive electric motors, thus eliminating the need for gearboxes, increasing efficiency (a gearbox can waste 5-9% of power), and reducing the cost and time for maintenance (a gearbox consists of several moving parts that can break, seals that need replacement, lubrication and potentially separate cooling).
Direct drive also reduces the space needed for installing the EcoVizor making it easy to fit it into both new and existing installations.
GENTLE HANDLING OF LIQUIDS
The positive displacement design guarantees low agitation and gentle handling of shear-sensitive liquids.
REVERSIBILITY / BIDIRECTIONAL PUMPING
The unique design of the EcoVizor allows it to be operated in either direction without loss of performance, eliminating the need for complex pipe/valve systems needed for reverse pumping with unidirectional pumps.
The EcoVizor can be equipped with an automated monitoring and control solution which helps to prevent and detect both mechanical problems and operator errors before they escalate into full-scale emergencies.
Designed for mission critical applications, the automation package offers redundancy and fault tolerance as well as 24/7 monitoring and recording of performance data. The solution offers secure real-time local and remote access to the control software and is compatible with a number of standard industrial automation protocols.
Due to rigid bearing assemblies and small clearance (up to 0.02mm) between the rotary piston group and the housing, the reverse-direction leakages have been brought to a minimum, allowing to create over 0.9 bar of negative pressure on the intake.
The EcoVizor is available with Bureau Veritas (ATEX Quality Assurance Notification) and CE certification, is registered in Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, and can be supplied with other certiﬁcates for speciﬁc applications.
